A survival guide for the Lower Hudson Valley? At its heart this site is a resource for anyone thinking about exploring Westchester. It’s also a home page for Westchester residents looking for something to do on their own, with kids, a spouse, or a date. So if catching Upright Citizens Brigade throw down some long form improv, seeing Beirut, Ben Harper or Amy Schumer perform live, or jumping in giant inflatable bouncy houses with your kids sounds like a good time… then look no further. Weschester has it all. It’s not the social wasteland you may fear.
This site is divided into multiple sections including: “Hoods” (articles about many of the towns, villages, and hamlets that make up the County); “What To Do In The Burbs” (info on where you can see live music, comedy, or find a yoga class); “News/Interview” (an introduction to Westchester through a series of conversations and articles with residents and business owners who call the County home); and Cartoons (a collection of some of the parenting cartoons my wife and I created over the past few years of parenthood).
Please note, this is not a complete resource. It’s a work in progress. So take a look today and then come back and look again next week. The site is continuously building and I’m regularly conducting new interviews and information on the County.
I’m a realtor with Houlihan Lawrence and I’m also a writer. If you’re interested in learning more about any of Westchester be in touch. I’m happy to speak with you about any town and I’d be honored to help you find your home.
